How Reliance JIO is going to loot you more than others?

Yesterday, Reliance JIO was announced with sensational offers. All the leading tech websites, leading news papers wrote Reliance JIO's announcements as sensational offers. But, the reality is, JIO is actually going to loot you more than Airtel, Idea..etc. Don't laugh at us, first, read the following.
For the first time, We (Vizzva) are stating, R-Jio in a negative manner since its launch ..may be. Kindly, do read the matter and share your opinion.
Read: Reliance Jio announcement highlights from AGM

What Newspapers highlighted?

  • No more paid calls. All the voice calls all over India are completely free and Jio users need not to pay for Voice calls any more.
  • Rs. 50 for 1GB which is cheapest in the world (Even yesterday at the AGM of Reliance, they announced the same with a graph).

Reality:

  • First, to get the Rs. 50 for 1GB offer, you need to choose the "Base Plan". Reliance Jio offering 10 base plans. You must choose any of them to get the "Free Calls" and Rs. 50 for 1GB offer. The following are the list of plans announced by Jio.
UPDATE (07/09/16): 1GB for Rs.50 is totally a false statement by R-Jio. After using the given data, it costs Rs. 250 per 1GB. R-Jio also announced an add-on data pack of Rs.150 which offers 1GB of data.

How Jio is going to loot you?

First listen our points.
Telenor to Telenor calls are free (unlimited) with a STV of Rs. 52/- per month. Any operator can offer their inner operator calls at cheap rates. Jio is offering unlimited calls to all operators with their base plan, starting from Rs. 149.
Of course, Rs. 149 will give you unlimited calls. But, not the data. You'll just get 0.3GB of data and then, you've to pay Rs. 250 per GB and the validity of the base plan is only 28 days.
So, Each month you've to pay at least Rs. 149. The irony is that, with this hype for Jio, when the commercial operations begins, at least, 60% of the people will migrate to Jio for sure and generally, JIO to JIO calls will be more.
If the people love Jio and the other operators are failed to compete with JIO, obviously, there will be lesser operators soon. yes, only 1 or 2 major operators like Airtel and PSU BSNL will be there.
So, with the current estimations, after the beginning of commercial operations, Jio will definitely capture the market and most of the Indians will be under Jio network. Jio to Jio calls will be more.
Few days back, Airtel announced an yearly plan. With this, you've to pay Rs. 1400 approximately and instantly, you'll get 1GB of data and then, Rs. 50 per GB entire the year.
Now, consider Jio, you're paying at least Rs. 149 an year. Totally,  Rs.1788/- per yer, which is more than Airtel's yearly data plan. But, you'll just get "Unlimited calls to any operator" (i.e., mostly Jio calls. of course free for other operators too, but, soon, most of the people will be under the Jio family). For data, same like Airtel, you've to pay Rs. 50 per 1GB.
Even, Airtel can offer like Jio, if Airtel has a situation like Jio. Even, Idea can offer unlimited calls to any operator if Idea is in a situation to capture most of the Indian users to their network.
What we are going to Pay (Min. Base Plan)?
  • At least Rs. 149 and If you want 1GB of data, Rs. 250, totally Rs. 350 minimum.
What you are going to Get (Min. Base Plan)?
  • Unlimited calls to any operator (just a joke. Actually, max. number of calls will come and go under Jio only, because, Jio will be the most used operator after the beginning of Jio commercial operations. most of the users will migrate to Jio via MNP).
  • 0.3GB of data (300MB). If you want more data, Rs. 250 per GB.
  • 100 SMS per month.
  • Access to Jio Premium Applications.
  • All these VALID for 28 days.
Currently, a normal user pays just Rs. 100 to 150 depends on his call usage or some applications usage. For his heavy data usage, he/she is using Wi-Fi. Even, with Jio, the same is going to happen. After Jio announcement with sensational "No more paid calls in India", everyone is in a dilemma that Jio is benefiting the common man. Actually, no! Any person must pay Rs. 149 (actually more than 350 if you want 1GB data also). That's what Jio is offering and demanding, actually looting!
Of course, the plans announced by Jio are definitely better than others, Jio is offering access to their Premium apps (free music, free TV, free cinema, news..etc), Jio is offering unlimited night data with their Rs. 499 starting plans.
However, with Jio, in India, digital literacy will surely improve and many good things will happen. Jio announced there will be transparent plans (no hidden charges) and no blackout days, .
But, what..If the other operators are unable to compete with Jio? Many operators will disappear soon in the industry and Jio is the ruler there! As of now, actually, if you can think practically, Jio actually damaged the market. All the other operators are not in a situation to compete with Jio. Let's see what's going to happen!
All the above statements are purely my personal thoughts! Kindly, voice your opinion via comments. Thank you!
