Where to Find Equalizer / Ear Phone Settings in Redmi 1S?

Redmi 1S is a very successful smartphone in the recent times. This budget mobile was made by Xiaomi, a chinese company, selling the mobile through the e-commerce website Flipkart in India. These mobiles are selling like hot cakes every week in a particular period of time.
    Coming to the topic, finding audio equalizer in the mobile is a bit difficult for the users, who turned from Android. Actually Redmi 1S is an Android device , But skinned by MIUI, which is almost identical to iOS in many features. There is also a great choice in the equalizer that we can change ear-phones style like General ear-buds, In ear phones, Headsets..etc. to enjoy the audio in the Best quality. Here we're providing a very small tutorial with screenshots to say you how to open Equalizer in Redmi 1S.

How to Find Equaizer (or) Ear Phone Settings in Redmi 1S?

  • First, Go to the settings page as shown below. If you're using the mini UI, you can directly open settings app from the launcher.
  • After entering into the settings section, Move to General settings, scroll down and choose Sound.
  • Now, here you can see "Optimize audio quality" click on that and in the bottom you can see "Equalizer". It works only when you are connected to headsets.

      Hi +Abiddian,

      I've tried MIUI6 on my Redmi 1S few days ago. But due to Slow Processing , I've installed Mokee now. Like in MIUI v5, you can find the equalizer in v6 also. I don't remember the exact menu. But, If you are able to provide the Settings menu , I can suggest you !

      Generally Settings > Sound > Equalizer // Music app > Settings > Equalizer will work. If won't works and if you have patience , Kindly Mention the Items in Settings so that i can help you !

      Also, Have a try Music app > Play a song > Click on the three dots (Top Right of Playing screen) > Headset settings.
